おっさんたちが「古典を1000冊読んで来い」とか言ったことにより、読まなければならない多くの名作に忙殺された若人達は、海の物とも山の物ともわからん新刊を定価で買うようなことはなくなり、結果として新刊は売れなくなる。というわけで、おっさんが幅を利かすとジャンルは壊滅する。
